Tired of being tired? No energy? Low libido? Let us help.
Female hormone replacement therapy (HRT) in St. Peters has never been more accessible and affordable. Our chiropractic clinic provides all you need for a tailored plan, making the process streamlined and efficient.
Hormone replacement therapy is a safe, regulated medical approach that helps alleviate adverse symptoms often related to menopause.
During perimenopause (pre-menopause) and throughout its development, menopause causes hormones to naturally decline.
HRT can mitigate various discomforts, including hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness and pain, and emotional fluctuations.
Additionally, the therapy has been shown to provide protective benefits against bone loss (osteoporosis) and lower the risk of developing colon cancer.
Working with an experienced and knowledgeable doctor regarding your unique circumstances is vital to ensure you’re a viable candidate for this therapy.

What is Estrogen, & Why Do I Need It?
Estrogen is a hormone that plays a critical role in a woman's sexual and reproductive health and other parts of the body.
Sexual development
Estrogen is responsible for the development of secondary sexual characteristics, such as body hair, breast growth, and body composition (getting curves).
Reproductive health
Estrogen regulates the menstrual cycle and maintains the reproductive system, including enhancing the ability to get pregnant.
Other body systems
Estrogen affects many other organ systems, including the heart, blood vessels, bones, breasts, skin, hair, mucous membranes, pelvic muscles, and brain.
Bone health
Estrogen works with calcium, vitamin D, and other minerals to keep bones strong. Low estrogen levels can lead to decreased bone density and an increased risk of fractures.
Lipid profile
Low estrogen levels can:
- Lead to increased LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol) that affects the arteries, increasing the risk of heart disease and stroke
- Lead to decreased HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol) that carries cholesterol to the liver, where it’s broken down and released, minimizing the risk of heart disease and stroke
Estrogen levels naturally fluctuate throughout a woman's life, but healthy levels should be maintained due to its importance in overall function.
When a woman reaches her late 30s, estrogen typically begins to decline due to perimenopause. This process can last for several years, continually disrupting estrogen production.
Other factors that may reduce estrogen levels include:
- Mental stress, anxiety, and depression
- Ovarian health
- Food and nutritional intake, especially with eating disorders
- Genetics
- Unhealthy sleep patterns
- Obesity
- Medications

Testosterone and Progesterone
Testosterone pellets are just as common and beneficial for addressing symptoms related to energy, libido, and muscle mass.
Incorporating testosterone alongside estrogen provides a more balanced hormone profile for many women.
Additionally, progesterone is sometimes included as a complementary part of HRT, typically administered as a capsule or cream, to help regulate mood, sleep, and overall hormonal harmony.
By personalizing the right combination of these hormones, we’re able to deliver a comprehensive approach that addresses the unique needs of each patient.

Whether you’re in perimenopause, menopause, or post-menopause, managing your menopause-related symptoms is likely a top priority.
As we age, the body undergoes many changes, and losing the hormonal support you’re used to can impact everything from weight to mood to sleep. This hormonal loss is often called a hormonal imbalance and destabilizes physical and psychological harmony.
Common symptoms associated with low estrogen include:
- Lethargy
- Regular exhaustion
- Reduced sex drive
- Decreased energy
- Mood instability and inconsistency
- Decreased concentration and focus
- Disrupted sleep patterns
- Weight gain
- Wrinkles
- Decreased bone density
- Forgetfulness or having a foggy head
- Hair loss
These symptoms often lead to increased tension, discomfort, and unease. Hormone therapy can be an empowering option for regaining balance and well-being in your daily life.

Our Hormone Replacement Therapy Process
Our process is easy:
- We will provide a simple hormone-focused intake form and blood panel to ensure your hormone levels meet our criteria
- Once approved, we will schedule a free consultation to do further physical testing, learn more about you, and go over your treatment plan
- Once on our table, you will lay on your stomach with your upper hip exposed
- We will apply a local anesthetic to numb the area
- We’ll make a minor incision that allows us to use a special, handheld tool to push the pellets under the skin
- We will then cover the incision site with a bandage
The pellet HRT therapy offered in our St. Louis chiropractic clinic is a 30-minute session that requires only one insertion treatment every three to four months. Your doses will meet your unique requirements, including how much estrogen and testosterone should be used.
Our doctor has over 20 years of experience creating hormone replacement strategies for patients. We’ve witnessed how this therapy contributes to a happy, healthy life. Let us show you that you can have that, too.
